Sian Ka’an Wetlands Sea Kayak & Snorkel Trip
Experience the ancient trading routes by paddling among mangrove mazes and calm waters in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, one of the world’s most remote and exciting places. Sian Ka’an is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we can freely enjoy nature, take pictures, watch the wildlife from up close and enjoy the moment. This is the best opportunity to get introduced to kayaking for first timers or experienced ones who want to explore the incredible natural wonders of this region.
Snorkeling in the Caribbean. Cenotes & Mesoamerican Coral Reef
We start this magical adventure snorkeling at the Mesoamerican Coral Reef, second largest reef in the world. After this amazing experience, we will discover another incredible ecosystem in the mystical Maya underground rivers, the cenotes. Covered with water they give us entry to a magical world where we can see the delicate rock formations that are the result of the deposit of minerals hauled through the porous stones.
Wildlife Jungle Hiking Experience
Punta Laguna (The spider monkey Reserve) is a rural Maya community immersed in the dense canopy of the tropical forest. This Maya community preserves much of their traditions and customs and will guide us through the amazing natural environment. We will algo be part of a small sacred Maya ceremony; rappel into the cenote and at the end we will have the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating culture by enjoying a delicious fresh meal prepared by the women of the community.
Jungle Birdwatching
You will travel the most outstanding areas of natural beauty with an expert local-bird & wildlife guide and a small number of fellow travelers.
